Gizmo went down a storm and he was adapted for various different contexts prior to and during the event, including a 3D animated version, virtual installations, a layered cake, and a real-life costumed host!
AV Awards 'Gizmo' Illustration (commissioned)
For the 20th anniversary of the AV Awards, we were invited to create the Graphics for the first theme; ‘Circus Steampunk’ We came up with ‘Gizmo’ a circus ringmaster character illustration that we commissioned as a centre point for the graphic identity, as well as in illustrated 'graphic toolkit of pipes, cogs and textured background, and colour palette, all of which were used throughout the event as a visual theme.
